Mr. Eidem founded the Commercial Surety Bond Agency in 1984.  He graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and has over 40 years of surety experience.  Over his career, Mr. Eidem has worked with some of California’s largest contractors and real estate developers and helped countless start up companies obtain their first bond.

Mr. Huckabay is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and was distinguished as the number one graduate in his class by the Executive Council graduating Summa Cum Laude and with honors.

Mr. Huckabay has worked for CSBA since 1996 and is now responsible for managing the overall operations, strategic planning with clients, and negotiation of bond programs with surety companies.

He is the past Affiliate Chairman for the Engineering Contractors Association, a member of the SCCA, and on the Executive Council of the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton.

Mr. Roop graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and he spent his entire career as an underwriter for major surety companies.  He was the Manager of U.S.F.& G's Los Angeles, CA office from 1972 to 1986 and, thereafter, managed Insurance Company of the West’s (ICW) Orange County office - a position he held until his retirement in 2004.  While at ICW, he handled over 200 prominent contractors and real estate developers.

Mr. Roop joined CSBA in early 2004 as an in-house underwriter to add to the service and expertise the company provides to its current and prospective clients.

Ms. Knapp has been with CSBA since inception, and handles all of the accounting and HR related matters for the company.  She has over 30 years of experience in the field and is a tremendous asset to CSBA and the company’s clients.

Mr. Ayala is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Mr. Ayala has worked for the company since 2000, and he is currently responsible for managing the day-to-day needs of CSBA’s clients and oversight of the firm’s producers and account managers.

Mr. Waterbury is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Mr. Waterbury has worked for the company since 2008, and he is responsible for strategic planning with clients, negotiation of bond programs with surety companies, and managing the day-to-day needs of clients.

He is currently a member of the American Subcontractors Association, and previously worked for the City of Norco for 5 years.
